Great Western Manufacturing Reveals New Office Expansion
Great Western Manufacturing Company, Inc. hosted a Leavenworth-Lansing Chamber Ribbon Cutting and Open House in September featuring its new 8,600 SF office expansion. Located in Leavenworth, Kansas, Great Western began its operations in 1858, building steam engines and repairing parts for steam boats and burning stoves. Since then, the Company has evolved to manufacture industrial sifters for flour mills and bakeries. Great Western is known as the oldest continually operating manufacturing company in the state. Its current customer base serves both a national and international market. As part of Great Western’s expansion, 15 new jobs have been added, bringing the total employee headcount to 115.
