Governor Brownback Addresses Leavenworth Co. at LCDC Annual Meeting

LCDC held its annual meeting at Riverfront Community Center with over 120 businesspeople, elected officials, and citizens in attendance.  Governor Sam Brownback was featured speaker and spoke of Fort Leavenworth as a “unique asset” to Leavenworth County as well as sharing his perspective about staying competitive within the Midwest to attract and retain businesses and residents.

Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins also attended the meeting, as well as staff representing the offices of Senators Pat Roberts and Jerry Moran.
